Who we are
David and Louise Olson started decorating with Lights synchronized with music in 2008.
Their first show was only on their own home 4729 Newport and used the Light-O-Rama technology with incandescent traditional Christmas light strings in Green, Red, Blue and White. As neighbors asked to be included in the show, it expanded to neighboring houses.
As the show grew, technology also improved and by 2013 pixels were being implemented in Christmas Light Shows. These strip and bullet pixels could be programmed to display multiple colors and greatly enhanced the show.
With the new technology, we moved from using the Light-O-Rama software to the Xlights software.
Our Christmas Light Show has continued to grow as new decorations and neighboring houses have been added each year.
David as a retired Telecommunications Engineer handles the controller hardware, electric and network. Louise as a retired IT Professional takes care of the layout, sequencing of lights to music and the decorations. They provide all the decorations, electricity, put up and take down and storage for the show.
